The Main Street Recovery Grant Program aims to help those who need it most.
Grants will first be given to businesses who didn’t receive a Payment Protection Program loan, insurance payment, or an Economic Injury Disaster loan or advance as well as businesses owned by women, minorities and veterans.
In an effort to get Louisiana businesses the economic support they need, Act 311 of the Louisiana 2020 Regular Session set aside $275 million for the Main Street Recovery Program. For the first 21 days, grants will be awarded to businesses who did not receive federal assistance or insurance payments. Within 60 days, the program plans to award $40 million to businesses owned by veterans, minorities, and women.
